From the 28th of September to the 1st of October, yachting enthusiasts are set to discover new exhibitions and show experiences. The MYS is determined to give this crowd a proper introduction to the world of super yachting.

Rob Taylor from Taylor’s Property Specialists, which represents Shute Harbour Marina Resort, spoke about the over 25 year process of completing the development. 

“It’s not just during the development, [procedures and protocols] will be ongoing as well. It will include obviously water quality et cetera, it will be monitored and very strict. I can tell you that the developer is actually a passionate diver, so he has a vested interest to do everything he can to make sure that it’s not just a development, but that it cares for the environment as well which is obviously extremely important.”

From 20-27 August, crowds of yachting enthusiasts will join one of Australia’s most loved yachting races, perfectly positioned on the edge of the Great barrier reef, amongst the finest boating waters. Spectators will enjoy on-shore events as the unique atmosphere of this incredible race seizes Hamilton Island.

Every August, Airlie Beach comes alive. Global boating enthusiasts join a vibrant, action packed week of entertainment and marine lifestyle, set to the backdrop of the spectacular Whitsunday coast and Island.

From 11-18 August 2022, join 6 days of offshore yacht racing and seven nights of the Whitsundays finest food, wine and entertainment. We are delighted to be joining such a spirited community through this week-long race.
